As the year begins to ebb, Steerforth readies for our 2015 list. You may have seen that Donal Ryan‘s The Thing About December is already available in stores, following up on this past spring’s The Spinning Heart. We’ve also released the paperback edition of The Book of Matt, which brought new light to the case of Matthew Shepard’s murder when it came out last year.

The Book of Matt caused a stir when it hit shelves last September.

This coming year brings some great selections as well. In February, the sophomore effort by Vancouver-based Ian Weir will make its way to the US. At the height of Romanticism in 1816 London, Will Starling is an historical novel rife with Gothic elements of love and redemption, death and resurrection. Take a look if you’re curious, but definitely keep an eye out for it in 2015!

Also on its way is the US edition of Katja Rudolph‘s Little Bastards in Springtime, which follows teenage boy Jevrem Andric from war-torn Sarajevo to the streets of Toronto. Keep watch for it later in Spring 2015!

Finally, you may have noticed some changes to our Steerforth.com home page. After redesigning the website in WordPress to enhance its functionality and to allow for more instantaneous book information updates, we determined that the best way to keep the site engaging for our viewers would be to feature specific titles on a rotating basis, rather than to simply provide a static listing of a few of our titles. Thus, you will see a new feature appear every few weeks. We will still have our upcoming and recent releases featured on the homepage, as well as a new sidebar on the right providing links to our fellow Hanover Publisher Services clients, but the rotating features will give visitors a fresh look at some of our great backlist titles while keeping our website from becoming too repetitive for regular visitors. Best of all, there will often be timely trivia facts accompanying the featured titles, giving you new (or refresher) information as you browse!

Until net time,
~Devin
